Happy New Year

So I know I have been totally slacking in keeping this blog up, but I just haven't had much motivation to get on here and write.....To catch up....Eric is well into his Residency. He has completed Family practice, internal medicine, and OBGYN (which he actually really liked this time around) and will start ER on Tuesday. We still have not painted ANY rooms in our house yet. Dallas is doing really well in preschool and looks forward to his Slurpee treat everyweek that he goes everyday. He is learning how to pray really well and volunteers to say almost every prayer and gets upset if Mom or Dad try to help. Chloe is getting ever more girl. She loves dolls, book, and all of her stuffed toys. She mostly loves her big brother Dallas, who she follows and trys to mimmick all of the time. For example, she has suddenly become interested in the potty!! I am not pushing anything and letting her sit and try when she wants. We had one successful session and she was so proud of herself!! Maybe this girl will do the potty training for me!!

The holidays came and went way too fast. For Halloween Dallas dressed up as a GREEN crayon and Chloe was a Ladybug. I dressed up as a bumblebee. We trick or treated in our friends neighborhood (which is famous for the "hotdog" house...they barbeque and give them out as well as king size candy bars) After about twenty minutes both kids were freezing so we spent the remainder of the evening with our good friends the Youngs.

For Thanksgiving my super awesome twin was able to come out and visit. Despite some mishap which does not help Beckley's reputation at all, we ended up having a good time togehter. I showed her the view tourists sites available, had a wonderful Thanksgiving, with the Youngs of course, made cookies, and just soaked up all the time we had together.

For Christmas we went really mellow. We stuck to our 3 Gift only (from eachother/Santa which we call the three wisemen) And it was an amazing day. It felt peaceful and was centered around Christ. The kids were eccstatic with what they got and couldn't have had a better day!

Anyway, it is now a new year and time for resolutions. I won't even make the revolution to write more because I already know that probably won't happen. But What I am going to try and do is see the Good in all bad situations. I'm going to try and exercise more even if it is just a walk around the neighborhood or 20 mins on the WII. I am going to try and make most of the realtionships that help me to thrive and let go of ones that don't. I'm ready to start anew.

Well that is all for Now Happy New Year...
